book review: red earth and pouring rain

my friend recommended this book to me over a year ago, and i've had it ever since. i picked it up again recently and instantly fell in love with it. not at all what i was expecting but i was very pleasantly surprised. the novel is woven so deeply with layers and layers of character and plot development and every story is heavy with imagery and relatability. it's not a quick read. it's something you digest a while in between other books. but i definitely think it's worth checking out. it's great for slow nights and lazy afternoons.

GREAT ALBUM. 

possibly my favorite album.

it's perfect for the creeping autumn and a long road trip.

i would just like to talk about this movie for a second.

i first saw this film last year and was immediately obsessed with it. it's incredible. 

please check it out. it's by far one of my favorite movies. (i know i say that about a lot of movies, but this one is something special).
