h o t d r e a m s (2)

last night i saw timber timbre live at the troubadour in west hollywood. was expecting it to be a pretty good show but i wasn't expecting it to completely rock my world. it was by far the best live show i've seen. E V E R. the venue was so small and intimate and the crowd was great. everyone was just feeding and feeling good vibes. 

a band called tasseomancy opened for them (they're canadian too) and they were insanely good. kind of like cocorosie meets bob dylan. fantastic. AND THEY COVERED NEIL YOUNG AT THE END. bought their album after the show and listened to it as i struggled not to fall asleep driving home. their album definitely doesn't do them much justice so i'm really hoping they churn some new stuff out really soon. 

god i wish i could articulate just how crazy good everything was. 

and when they played hot dreams..."something special might happen. something RO-MAN-IC." pink neon, a twinkling disco ball, and swaying...side to side...ahh. it really doesn't get much better. definitely left my heart at that show.
